Hi Ann,

Thanks for writing. That is very exciting news that you are interested in creating a statewide navigation program in Maryland! I will reach out to our founding members and see if someone is able to contact you directly. I have been working with the committee for about a year now. I am happy to share some of our experience with conference planning and organization, but for details about how up to get a group up and going I think it will be most helpful to hear from one of our members that participated early on.

I work with the Maryland Cancer Collaborative and we are interested in creating a statewide patient navigation network similar to this one. Is there someone I can contact to get more information about this network and any lessons learned?

I WOULD LIKE MORE INFORMATION ON HOW I CAN BECOME MORE INVOLVED IN THE PA NAVIGATOR NETWORK. I AM A NURSE NAVIGATOR FOR A SPINE PROGRAM. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND ANY OTHER NETWORK OF PROFESSIONALS IN MY SPECIFIC AREA OF INTEREST BUT WOULD LOVE TO BE INVOLVED WITH OTHER NAVIGATORS – DIFFERENT DISEASE, SAME NEEDS.
