• About David Cohen

My wife was diagnosed with stage III ovarian cancer in April 2009. Like it does for most people, the diagnosis came out of the blue. Right away we were brought to Fox Chase Cancer Center. We were given nothing but hope from the doctors and nurses here. They were extremely compassionate. The staff was there for my wife whenever she needed that extra care, whether it was in the middle of the night, on weekends, or at the times when she was admitted to the hospital. As her cancer progressed, we researched many other options and facilities. Everything came back to Fox Chase. My wife saw me serve on the Patient-Family Advisory Council for a few months before she passed away in February of 2011. She was glad for the work this group does. I continue my work in PFAC in her memory and help where I can with the knowledge I now have from my experiences with cancer and at Fox Chase.
